Work with Me
about Lindsay

Hi, I’m Lindsay Morgia, founder of The Data Coach.

Before founding The Data Coach, I spent 15 years as an analyst in the nonprofit and public sectors. During that time, I realized that my strengths lie in teaching nonprofits the value of proper data collection and analysis techniques as well as in applying their data to organizational decision-making. I also learned that I enjoy working collaboratively with teams to make data a little less intimidating and more accessible to staff members without a data background.

Now, I bring these experiences, values, and research skills to nonprofits and fellow consultants to help our community build its capacity for insightful research that leads to community impact and organizational effectiveness.

I believe in:

Collaboration: You are the authority on your organization’s mission and goals. My role is to partner with you to make your data work for your needs, not force your organization to do what everyone else is doing.
Inclusivity: I love working with clients who prioritize the voices of the people most impacted by an issue, a program, a policy, or a decision.
Transparency: I clearly explain what I do and why as a way to build trust, and I guide my clients to ensure they do the same for their stakeholders.
